Caught it this AM.....awesome. It had a John Carpenter vibe from "The Thing", with a group of people secluded in a store/cabin due to a winter storm and the air of "who's who" and mistrust. There are even parts of Ennio Morricone's score from The Thing in the film, and when I came home I looked up on IMDB and found that Tarantino used the film as an inspiration. It was nice to go into a movie without being previously bombarded with mega coverage and promotion.....**cough cough Star...
